Devaun Park Mathews Final Update January 7, 2010

Well, parting is such sweet sorrow...our last update to our Devaun Park custom home blog for our clients, The Mathews. A few final shots as we hand over the keys to our very happy homeowners as they camp out their first night in their new home. We were fortunate to have this home receive the highest Energy Star rating possible: a 5 Star Plus rating!, and this home has been NAHB Green Certified at the Silver level: the first NAHB Green Certified home in South Brunswick County.

Devaun Park Mathews Update December 9, 2009

OK, drum roll, please!....new photos just taken yesterday: I took over 50 so here is an edited selection (in no particular order): I will try to send the remainder to you via email- the house is really coming together, all of the faucets, sinks, appliances, light fixtures (well, except for one), have worked out really well with the house, you need to give yourselves a pat on the back for the excellent selections you made!

Devaun Park Mathews Update December 4, 2009

Good Afternoon and Happy Friday!

The latest and greatest of your beautiful new home in Devaun Park: check out that outdoor fireplace, what a great place to be in the winter months! I couldn't access the interior of your home today as the hardwood floors had just received a fresh coat of polyurethane, so I sneaked one interior photo so you could see the fresh poly (it is shiny because it is still wet). Will focus on interior next week so you can see the finished paint work. The interior is beautiful...a classic color scheme complimented by just the right amount of wainscoting and built-ins. Devaun Park Mathews Update November 10, 2009

From the photos below, you can see that the interior is really starting to take shape. Kitchen cabinets and countertops have been set, and painting has begun....looking forward to seeing some color on those walls! The brick patio is starting to take shape: the patio and outdoor fireplace are on schedule for this week.

Next week, plumbing and electrical fixtures will be installed, which will really add some extra personality to the house. By the end of next week, we should be in position to begin work on the driveway and landscaping.

Good Monday Morning! Attached are a number of photos showing progress on your new Whitney Blair custom home over the past week: we've included several of the tile work, as we really think the selections you made with Vicky, our interior designer, turned out really well.

Interior trim work will start with this week...more photos to follow on that once we have a good representation of the work!
