Devaun Park Mathews Update 7/31/2009

Good Morning, Happy Friday... The roofing materials have arrived and installation is underway. Rough electrical continues and should be wrapped up soon. The HVAC installation has begun as well. We will post pictures of the progress next week. You will see a black cast iron pipe (drop) from the second floor to the first floor in a few of the interior pictures. Whitney Blair Inc. uses this instead of PVC to reduce the noise of water flowing through the walls. Have a great weekend. As always, do not hesitate to call us if you have any questions.

Devaun Park Mathews Update 7/25/09

Good Morning. We hope you are enjoying your weekend. As you saw during your visit this past week, the progress on your Whitney Blair Inc. Custom Home continues to move forward nicely, and the home is really looking good.

On Wednesday the metal roof contractor will begin the installation of your metal roof. Great decision to upgrade your HVAC system to the more energy efficient model, they will begin installation of the units this week.

Below you will see a few pictures of your Pella windows with “peel and seal” Pella tape around them. This is used to help reduce the potential of moisture infiltration into your home during severe weather.

Devaun Park Mathews Update 7-15-09

Fantastic progress has been made on your Custom Whitney Blair Inc. home in Devaun Park over the past two weeks. As framing concludes, this week your Pella Windows were installed and we began wrapping your home in Tyvek Home Wrap. Also our crews installed TITANIUM™ UDL-30 roof protection. TITANIUM™ UDL-30 is a highly engineered coated woven synthetic material that offers a reliable secondary layer of protection under all types of primary sloped roofing material. Unlike felt, TITANIUM UDL's recyclable polyolefin construction doesn't expand or contract and is inert to mold growth. Next week the plumbers are scheduled to arrive and begin the rough plumbing stage. Your colonial Red Metal Roof has been ordered and will arrive in the near future.
